Monica Phan is an attorney at Silver & Wright LLP. Monica represents municipalities in civil litigation matters, and she works with municipalities to improve the general welfare through code enforcement, nuisance abatement, and criminal prosecution. Additionally, Monica serves as a hearing officer in rent stabilization and administrative matters. Monica also provides advisement to municipalities and public sectors regarding constitutional issues.
Before joining Silver & Wright LLP, Monica worked at an insurance defense law firm where she handled claims for personal injury, property damage, and wrongful death.
Monica earned her Juris Doctorate from Chapman University, Fowler School of Law where she assisted in the drafting of petitions for certiorari to the United States Supreme Court and amicus briefs. During law school, Monica served on the board of the Corporate Law Society as the Public Service Coordinator. Monica earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine.
When not practicing law, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her dogs.
