Rene L. Farjeat is an Attorney at Silver & Wright LLP. Mr. Farjeat’s practice areas include code enforcement, receiverships, police services, land use, zoning and planning, municipal law and litigation, nuisance and graffiti abatement, administrative law, business law and litigation, constitutional law, and tort defense.

Mr. Farjeat earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California. Mr. Farjeat has always excelled in his academic pursuits. He earned the University of Southern California’s Trustee Scholarship, a full-tuition academic award. Mr. Farjeat was also the recipient of the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law’s prestigious Merit Scholarship.

Mr. Farjeat has extensive litigation experience in both state and federal courts. He has successfully litigated numerous trials, motions for summary judgment, discovery motions, and a vast variety of other civil litigation motions and proceedings throughout the State of California. Mr. Farjeat also handles a significant portion of the firm’s transactional matters including, but not limited to, drafting contracts, lease agreements, employment agreements, ordinances, and resolutions. He also has substantial experience sitting in the position of city attorney at city council meetings, planning commission meetings, and meetings of the oversight board of the successor agency to the redevelopment agency.

Prior to joining Silver & Wright LLP, Mr. Farjeat served as the lead attorney in several civil litigation departments at a prominent Orange County commercial litigation firm.

Mr. Farjeat is admitted to the California State Bar (December 2014) and U.S. District Court (Cal. C.D., N.D., S.D., E.D.).
